Off To The Lake

Today is one of my favourite kind of days: It's a list-making, bag-packing, last-minute-shopping kind of day.

Tonight my husband and I have a lovely work dinner at Niagara Falls, then tomorrow will be spent at the annual Amish Auction near Milton, an event where I usually come home with lots of amazing finds. Then we'll be waking up before the sun and heading up to the cottage for the next week.

We are so looking forward to a week of nothing. 

So, have a lovely week and I'll be back with photos when I return!


Our family's cottage is up in Northern Quebec, just beyond the Ontario border, about 6 hours away.

    Oh Maria! I hope you have a great time away...a safe drive...the lake is just beautiful....be sure to pack a good summer read, a camera....and sun screen!
