Wake Me When It's Spring

Is it Spring yet?

I'm so ready to open the windows and let the breeze blow through the house.

It's gray again.

I'm ready for warm sun and the smells of Spring. I'm ready for fresh, and bright, and crisp.

To get myself in the mood, since it's a little too early for me to start, I'm preparing my lists for Spring Cleaning.

I've been collecting recipes for homemade cleaning products, tips for getting linens and covers white, painting tutorials for an endless list of touch ups, and checklists to make sure it all gets done.

Do you have any great recipes for cleaning products, or favourite projects to tackle in the Spring?

i'd love it if you'd post your natural remedies.

  2. I hear you; I am so ready for the warm weather. Each day I look out into the yard and hope for some sign of Spring; the sun in the sky, little birds in my yard, flowers peaking through the snow. Anything would be good.
I have been using this cleaner for a year or so. I have it mixed in a large spray bottle and it sits beside the sink. This is all purpose. It works on counter tops, the stove, the refrigerator, mirrors, door handles almost anything you can think of. I love how it takes spots off of my kitchen tap and makes it sparkle. This should not be used on good wood furniture but would be fine on painted surfaces. Just mix 1 cup of alcohol, 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water. Put it in a spray bottle. I hope you love it as much as I do.

    1. Kim,

Have you ever added an essential oil to make it smell better?
